New Year Sexual Health Check up?
The New Year is a great time to get yourself checked out at one of our confidential Sexual Health clinics. The Centre for Sexual Health will be offering extended drop in sessions (no appointments needed). Sessions will be running Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from the 4th until the 19th January. Drop in is open 08:45am-11am and then again 1:30pm-3pm. Visit the STI Testing section for more details (see menu bar)
Christmas and New Year Opening Times – Emergency Contraception
We have a number of services open over the Christmas and New Year period. To find out where you can access Free Emergency contraception, Free Pregnancy testing and Free Condoms click here
You have up to 72 hours after unprotected sex to access emergency hormonal contraception, if its more than 72 hours you may have other options. You will need to visit one of our contraception and sexual health services – For a full list please click here or visit your GP urgently.
Be aware that Contraception service is not open over Christmas – please check clinic times by calling 0113 3057884 or NHS Direct on 0845 46 47
If you have any problems or questions please call NHS Direct on 0845 46 47 – they will be able to give you advice and service information throughout the festive period.

An estimated 20,000 people in the UK are infected with HIV and don’t even know they’ve got it.
Yorkshire MESMAC is throwing open its doors at 60 Upper Basinghall Street, Leeds, LS1 5HR to anyone wanting an HIV test on Thursday 1st December aka World AIDS Day. You can drop in, see a trained professional to talk about any sexual health concerns you have and twenty minutes after the HIV test has been done, you get your results.

We Are Leeds – Text TEST 60777 for your free Chlamydia & Gonorrhoea Test
If you live in the Leeds and are Under 25 why not text for a test! We want as many local people from Leeds to be tested over the next couple of months to help bring down our rates of Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea. If you text TEST followed by your Age and Postcode to 60777 we’ll get you a postal test kit sent out. What could be easier?

City-Wise Open New Monday Morning HIV & Syphilis Testing Service for Under 25’s
City-Wise are now offering young people under the age of 25 the opportunity to be tested for HIV and Syphillis at a Monday morning clinic (9.00 – 12.00).
This service is by appointment only and is only available to young people who are not experiencing sypmtoms of an STI
